In case you missed it, lou2ser at the Townhall messageboard posted some pictures from the Elephant 6 Winter 1994 Catalog, which was inserted in some copies of the Apples' first EP, Tidal Wave. This is distinctly different from the Summer 1993 E6 Catalog, which Robert Schneider donated to this website last summer (images from that here). While many of the (waaaay out of print) offerings are the same, this one contains some fascinating additions: a Neutral Milk Hotel single featuring "Ferris Wheel on Fire" as a B-side being perhaps the most tantalizing. (It would be nice to hear a studio version of that song.) Plus Always Red Society, Sunshine Fix, Marbles, Von Hemmling, Vince Mole & His Calcium Orchestra, and The Olivia Tremor Control, which are helpfully introduced as "a concept to help trembling Olivias stop from trembling so much." Remember, folks...that ordering address won't work any longer. We can only dream it was thirteen years ago.
