Casper & the Cookies, who should be wrapping up recording their new album right about now, and who most recently backed Daniel Johnston at this year’s Athens PopFest (which you can hear at Southern Shelter), will be hitting the road again with a string of dates through the East Coast, Midwest, and Canada. To get in the mood, swing over to the band’s MySpace page and listen to “Power Stupid,” from their limited release EP ***1/2. I guarantee you will love it. (They were selling copies at the festival; hopefully they’ll have some on the tour.)
