Last week I posted here that I noticed the Sunshine Fix Green Imagination promo videos were available for sale ($1.99 apiece) on iTunes. Now Bill Doss has written in to explain that they really ought not to be sold to anyone. Here’s how he puts it:

I am in a laundry. I’ll try to explain…

The videos you discovered on iTunes, and I appreciate the word being spread, were actually never meant to be sold at all! They were originally meant to come free with the album Green Imagination.

I’ll furtherily try to explainify…

Somehow, back before the dawn of cheese doodles and ankle bracelets, anarchy reigned supreme.

Y’know the type;

cats and dogs living together,
a spongy old man with onions and liver,
all your good days done drowned in the river,
and in silence are reborn…

And so, to conclude, the videos (not to mention musictown) landed on the shores of iTunes without whit or whim of merrily whimsy. All was sad in the town of musicvisionlande. Much haste was made. There was a truckload of haste! Now we anxiously anticipate word from the valley.

So please, if you please, tell the goode people of Atlastown that those videos will soon be made available for all to see, one for all and all for gum. No money down, no spaghetti crown.

Please and one million thank yous, kind sir!

So there you have it – these videos, originally bundled with a limited-edition version of Green Imagination – will soon be able to be downloaded for free by everyone. Here’s one of them, “Sunday Afternoon”:
