inacave.jpgI was in a waiting room last night, flipping through magazines (print–the undiscovered country), and was pleased to see Elf Power’s new track, “Spiral Stairs” (from In a Cave, out next week), singled out as one of the current favorite songs being spun by the editors.  “#9 ‘Spiral Stairs’ – Longtime Athens, Georgia collective produce pretty piece of jangle-pop fuzz.” It’s on page 77 of the March 14 issue (with the Indiana Jones cover).  And in unrelated news that excites me nonetheless, The Rutles reunited in Los Angeles yesterday, and David Fincher is doing a new Heavy Metal animated-anthology movie.  Since when did my Id start controlling the cosmos?
