Pitchfork has posted the latest video from The Music Tapes, a brand new song entitled “For the Planet Pluto 3.” This flat-out made my summer. I submit:

Edit: Thanks to Matt for dropping a line about the video too.

Cool video and great song. It’s not on an album or anything is it?
I approve!
approved.
Yeah, I’m really liking this song. A lot. I would assume the song is a contender for the next Music Tapes album, which–last I heard–Julian wanted to release much quicker than it took him to get the last one out. But I haven’t talked to Julian in a few months, so I’m not sure of the plans for this track.
the tourist-filled and sweltery state of maine gives this a giant stamp of approval.
it smells like the ocean and lupines and blueberries if you scratchandsniff it.
amazing!
I spelt my name wrong! I srill approve! As does Maine, as previously added!
Pluto is still a planet. Only four percent of the International Astronomical Union approved the controversial demotion, and most are not planetary scientists. Their decision was immediately opposed by hundreds of professional astronomers in a formal petition led by Dr. Alan Stern, Principal Investigator of NASA’s New Horizons mission to Pluto. Many scientists and lay people are either ignoring the very problematic demotion entirely or are actively working to get it overturned.
beautiful. very creative!
Just beautiful, made my night. How do those Tapes do it?
Kevin is a mean professor.
