Brian Heater has written an insightful article at New York Press on Will Cullen Hart, his MS, the reasons for the breakup and reunion of Olivia Tremor Control, and the comeback of Signal Morning.  The title, “Inside Views,” is a wink-wink reference to the Circulatory System remix CD-R that came out in 2001.  Both Will and Bill Doss are interviewed for the piece:

Friday, October 9th, head out to the Orange Twin Conservation Community in Athens, Georgia, for an all-day Fall Festival including performances by Neil Hamburger, Elf Power, Vic Chesnutt, Nana Grizol, and the Scott E. Spillane Explosion.  Camping is available at Orange Twin for the entire weekend (which will also feature the AUX Festival, as we just mentioned).  Tickets are available at Athens’ Wuxtry Records, Schoolkids Records, and the Orange Twin website.

Circulatory System is scheduled to play a show with krautrock legends Faust on October 10th at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA (and a workshop with Faust will be held in Athens on the 11th).  AUX is sponsoring the event, and needs your help to sponsor Faust’s visit to America and twelve-city tour.  Visit this Kickstarter page to donate to the cause–depending on how much you donate, you can get a live Circulatory System download, a copy of the AUX CD (featuring Korena Pang, W. Cullen Hart, Heather McIntosh, Hannah Jones, and more), a Faust/Circulatory System 40 Watt screen-printed poster, and more.  (Also check out that page’s video, which features a fanfare of balloons and kazoos to support the effort.)  Thanks to Heather for the head’s up.

UPDATE: Heather McIntosh has updated the rewards for donating: “Thank You Sounds” and Personalized Cello Drones!  More info here.
